Producers warn that until crabs are curbed, mussel manufacturing in Normandy and Brittany might finish inside a decade

French mussel farmers have stated voracious spider crabs which have infested the nation’s western value are destroying their shellfish and livelihoods as warming seas permit the migratory animals to spend extra of the 12 months offshore.
