DCI Banks lead actor was accused of punching drunk man making noise outside his house
The actor Stephen Tompkinson has been found not guilty of inflicting grievous bodily harm on a drunken man he confronted outside his home.
Tompkinson, a familiar face on television from Drop the Dead Donkey to DCI Banks, had been accused of lashing out at Karl Poole who was, with a friend, drinking at the end of the actor’s driveway in the early hours of the morning.
