The death of the teenager Molly Russell is an pressing reminder that huge tech must be pressured into a brand new period of accountability and to prioritise belief and security alongside “clicks and profit,” says the brand new chair of the UK media regulator Ofcom.

Michael Grade stated Ofcom was set to be given new powers beneath the federal government’s on-line security invoice that he would use to carry the most important and strongest tech firms to account.
